This car was built by Jake Velleiux as the #99 Red Pinto that Bob Riley drove at the Danbury-Racearena. The car was then sold and ran as the #13 at Waterford, CT. Purchased by Jimmy Riddle from Orange,  Jimmy installed the 37 Chevy coupe body and did a partial restoration. Jimmy died suddenly in 2001 and Kevin Brown of New Milford, CT purchased the car shortly after from the family. Kevins son Kory and Tom Stockwell finished the restoration on the car. Kory did most of the mechanical restoration and Tom did the frame, cage, body work and all of the paint work. The car will be finished and lettered as the # 77 of Jim Leary.
