This 1936 Ford 3-window coupe was built for the 1966 Danbury-Racearena season by Jimmy Smith. Jimmy went on to win the championship that year with this car. It's the only car in Danbury-Racearena history to win a championship without ever winning a heat, semi, consi or feature race. The car was driven by several drivers over the years at the Racearena before it was retired. The car was found  in Monroe, CT  in 1996 and purchased by Kevin Brown of New Milford, CT. It took over a year to restore the car and was run for the first time with N.E.A.R. at Waterford Speedbowl in 1997.
