Hugh "Tiny" Weyer started off as a race car driver
in the fifties, winning eleven races including one feature. After, Tiny became the
Official Starter for the Racearena, where he waved the green flag from the track surface
as the cars roared toward him. You would see Tiny running toward the infield for cover,
often chased, but never injured. Then in the later years Tiny was a Pinkerton Security
Officer at the Danbury Racearena. |
